He deserves every 5 star review he has and more. He patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions before I made the appointment and after. He came to my home before our appointment but told me to take my time (as I was coming from work) and when I arrived he was willing to start working immediately. He talked me through the repair and made me feel so confident and safe with the repair (he has soooo much knowledge about hybrid batteries). And 4 months later, I still appreciate and need to acknowledge his great work. Sabastian replied the next morning and quoted me very reasonable numbers/options, especially considering how an OEM hybrid battery from Toyota is $3-4k.

After reading all of Sabastian's glowing and consistent Yelp reviews, I made an appointment. True to his word, Sabastian showed up at my work on time, talked me through what he was going to do, and took care of the diagnosis and actual battery swap all in one hour!  Incredible!  

Sabastian was also very patient with me as I had to work through a minor issue with my card company to make sure he got paid properly. Again, from start to finish, I don't think I could have had any better of an experience. I also don't think I could have found a better service than what he provided!

A year later I was having problems once again and called Sabastian. Diagnostics revealed that this time the battery was the problem. He fixed it and I was on the road again in no time.   I had lost power while driving on the express lane on a freeway. That was scary, and luckily I got out. I've had my Prius for years, and had never... read more experienced anything like that. Looking up at the dash I noticed a "Check Hybrid System" code. I called three different repair shops, but all were trying to charge so much JUST for a diagnosis.

I ended up taking my car to a local mechanic I found on Yelp with great reviews. Initially things seemed great. However after leaving it, I had a hunch that they really didn't find the root of the problem. Sadly I paid the diagnosis fee, and took my car home after they said I needed a battery replacement (which I hadn't ruled out) but I wasn't 100% sure they really found the root issue.

I sent a message to Sebastian, and he responded really quick. His messages were clear, friendly, and concise He offered to come check out the car, and even gave me a preliminary diagnosis by stating that he thinks the issue isn't the battery based off of information I gave him.

We made plans for him to come check it out, and upon arriving presented himself in a very professional manner, and was really easy to approach. He checked my car, and as he thought, it was something other than what the other mechanic had said. He gave me a run through of what the issue was. I asked him how much I owed him for the diagnosis and how much he would charge to fix the issue. To my surprise Sebastian didn't charge me for the diagnosis. He also said that he didn't work on the specific problem I had (his area of focus is batteries). But offered to refer me if I needed that. I decided to try to fix the issue myself, and he WAS RIGHT! He saved me soooo much money. The part I had to replace was only $90 compared to $2000 for a battery!

I'm still in disbelief about how helpful and honest Sebastian was. If you're feeling unsure and want someone who's knowledgeable, approachable, and honest he's your guy.

The last person whom repaired it doesn't do that service anymore so I had to find someone New (hybridLAB LA) so I went to Yelp and started looking and reading.

I found 3 places. Called them, asked questions, left messages & received Estimates based on the info I provided to them.  Sebastian hands down was the best. He returned my call and provided the utmost Customer Service. All of his Reviews were Amazing and now I see why.

I spoke to my husband about it and we decided to go with him. We scheduled but has to reschedule due to an unexpected situation where he wouldn't have access to the vehicle.

Fast forward a week. He comes to my house to do the repair, he is a mobile service. This was really great for me because I had used several of my toes with AAA. He repairs, my hubby tips him and he's on his way.  2 days later (Check Hybrid System) message appears again.

My husband called him and explained what was happening. Least this time I could still drive to work & home only since my car was starting. Before he did the 1st repair, it wouldn't start at all.

Now it's been another week since 1st repair. He comes back to my home, takes another look. Talks to my husband about the codes he's getting and repairs my Camry for the 2nd time.

It's been smooth sailing every since. I am truly grateful. With the high interest rates right now, buying a New car wasn't the way to go. He saved Us time, money and stress.

I will refer Sebastian and his business to all I know whom drive hybrid cars.

He's definitely the Specialist you want. I have a warranty and he extended that since he had to come back, it was a year only now it's 18 months. Stellar Customer Service. He's honest and dependable. He does what he says!

Again, I will refer him always!

She notified me and it was not the news I wanted to hear. The next day we drop the car off at the mechanic and we find out that the codes from the diagnostic test pointed to the hybrid battery . So I then knew that we needed to find a professional, reliable and affordable solution.

The next few days I searched for hybrid battery specialists. I found a few places. I read their reviews and placed a few calls. My wife eventually joined in on the hunt for someone who could assist us with our hybrid battery issue. She came across Sabastian with hybridLAB LA. She sent a message via Yelp and received a reply in a very short amount of time. She ended up speaking to Sabastian and was very impressed with his knowledge of hybrid batteries, his professionalism and his thorough manner. So she recommended that I contact him and speak with him myself. And I did. I was equally as impressed. Sabastian made sure he took the time to explain how his service operates, his pricing, warranties etc.

My wife and I then decided to schedule an appointment to have Sabastian come look at our vehicle. He was able to diagnose the issue, tell us what was necessary and provide us with our options. We decided to go with the more affordable option presented to us, and have our hybrid battery replaced with a reconditioned hybrid battery. Sabastian worked very quickly. Within an hour he was finishing up.

Since we had our hybrid battery replaced the car has been operating like normal. My wife and I had contemplated buying a new car. We were reluctant because our Toyota Camry is a good car that is mechanically sound. We also want to get at least another year out of the car. By finding hybridLAB LA and using their services my wife and I were able to save a substantial amount of money and keep our current transportation without purchasing a new vehicle.
